Woodland for the Future

Who knows what sort of world we'll be living in 20 years from now? Planting for a future is an act of confidence and optimism that can positively affect all of our lives now and for generations to come.

If you have space in your playground for some woodland, even if its only a few trees, the impact will far outweigh the effort in establishing and maintaining the space. And you'd be surprised at the opportunities a young woodland can offer both as an outdoor learning resource and as a new environment encouraging a diversity of wildlife.

Planting out native British species is the most common option, however, planting out themed woodlands such as a Jurassic, or Forest Garden is popular.
